On February 16, 2026, Pastor Christian Gisanura shared a powerful teaching with his followers about our Heavenly Father and the inheritance of love He has given us—the privilege of being called His children.
He reflected on how God has granted believers a unique inheritance: to become His children, as stated in 1 John 3:1: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.”
Pastor Gisanura explained that God’s love is the greatest inheritance we receive. This love inspires us to express it through action—by giving, helping others, singing, embracing one another, speaking kind words, and caring for those in need. It is an inheritance that moves us to make love visible through our deeds, because God first loved us deeply.
He emphasized that the inheritance God gives is not earthly wealth, but the position and identity of being His children. Just as a child holds a special place with their parent, believers have a unique relationship with God—experiencing His love and freely communicating with Him.
Gisanura further noted that Christians who love God do not focus solely on worldly pursuits. While they work responsibly to sustain their lives, their ultimate hope is rooted in heaven.
Those without eternal hope struggle endlessly for earthly gain, but those who love God remember that their true and lasting inheritance is heavenly. This perspective gives their lives deeper purpose and meaning.
Pastor Gisanura also encouraged believers to align their actions with God’s will and avoid relying solely on human strength or approval. Earthly achievements may fade or lose value, but what God establishes endures forever.
He concluded by reminding his audience that love should guide both our mindset and behavior—motivating us to do good, love others sincerely, and live as true children of God. In doing so, we will resemble our Heavenly Father and fully reflect the inheritance of love He has entrusted to us.
