Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, asked Israel Mbonyi to move his ’Icyambu Live Concert’ edition 3 to Stade Amahoro, instead of performing it at BK Arena.
He asked him to move it to Amahao Stadium because that is where his fans can be hosted, rather than going to the BK Arena and filling up some people and others losing their seats or not seeing how they will participate because the tickets may be limited.
He said: “I would highly recommend you to perform at the Amahoro Stadium. BK Arena is no longer able to host all your fans, including Christians and non-Christians. It is true, my heart affirms it.”
Gospel singer, Israel Mbonyi, had announced that he has a concert at the end of this year as usual, but he has not yet confirmed where he will perform it. It was on October 18, 2024 that he announced asking: “Who’s ready for Icyambu 3? Christmas is back again.”
On the evening of October 27, he confirmed the news that he will perform for the third time in Kigali BK Arena saying: “How are you my people? It happened again. On December 25, 2024, the Icyambu will be held for the third time. I’m a Living Testimony, thank you. Don’t miss it! In the near future we will tell you how all the arrangements including the purchase of tickets will be."
This is the third time he will hold a concert called Icyambu Live Concert, and the previous two times, he sold all the tickets he had put on the market, people hit the BK Arena.
Onlookers believe that the BK Arena will definitely be small, including Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe. He is not the only one because even after doing the Icyambu Concert in 2023 and filling the BK Arena, Evangelist Fred Kalisa who loves Israel Mbonyi very much wrote on All Gospel Today that the next concert would be better at Stade Amahoro.
