His real name is Kevin Bahati, He left Gospel music and entered secular music, but it did not separate him from God’s love.
Kevin Bahati is a multi-talented artist with a long history in Gospel music. He is one of the most popular artists in Kenya and East Africa. He has won several awards at Kenya’s biggest Gospel music award, the Groove Awards.
A few years ago, he told Standard Media that he was quitting Gospel music and that he no longer wanted to be on social media. In July 2020, he posted an interview on his YouTube channel in which he explains that the fact that he gave up Gospel music does not mean that he is separated from God.
He said: “The Gospel is Christ. I have Christ in my heart and I walk in God that’s why I always move forward. I am not abandoning Christ but the Gospel industry is bad.”
Now he has a new gospel called Yahweh which was released on October 14, 2024.
