There are 3 undisputable satisfactions that the Cross of #Christ provided:
1. The Cross satisfied the justice, perfection of God. According to the righteousness of God, every sin should be punished with death
-For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”Romans 6:23 NKJV
-Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. Isaiah 53:10 NKJV.
2. The Cross satisfied the sinful nature of mankind. All the sinful nature needs is death on cross and a new nature in Christ, not improvement neither motivation.
-and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh.
Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”II Corinthians 5:15-17 NKJV.
3. The Cross satisfied the devil. The proposed ransom was beyond silver and gold, money or bulls but the blood of the lamb of God
-knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”I Peter 1:18-19 NKJV.
