One of the family members of Lieutenant Kevin Nkubito, told Paradise that it is a great tragedy to lose someone like Kevin Nkubito who was young since he was born in 1995, which means he was only 29 years old. He said the young man had served in the Canadian Army for three years and was living in that country with his family.
Sgt. Stephane Esculier with the Oromocto RCMP reported that upon arrival, the RCMP and the Oromocto Fire Department found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Preliminary investigations suggest that the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it veered off the road, collided with a tree, and subsequently caught fire.
