She’s very clever in this career, this is confirmed with her voice, she’s used to help other artists in their songs and concerts due to the intelligent skills that are found in her voice, she even confirmed this in her second song ‘’Nzategereza’’.

After releasing this song, she’s on preparation of her first concerts which is named after the song, the concert is called "Nzategereza Live Recording". She will also used this opportunity to capture the videos to use in her songs and this is all after she decided to follow a solo career because she was normally known in Kingdom of God ministries.

During the interview she had with Paradise.rw, she mentioned that the song ‘’Nzategereza’’ means a lot in her life. She said; ‘’It means a lot in my life, even the way it was received strengthened me’’

When Sharon was tackling on her background in career, she said that when she was a kid, her mum was talented singer in choir which made her feel more about this passion.

When she finished high school, she decided to to continue her studies at Nyundo, this Nyundo school is known for the role it played in giving the best of musicians in Rwandan music industry like Yverry, Igor Mabano, Ariel Ways, Kenny Sol… ,

Sharon Gatete didn’t stop there, she continued music life in Kenya where she’s in University studying music, and in her own word she confirmed that she has plan of studying music up to PhD level.

She said that she want to be singing and people get healed, ‘’I want to be a musician above singing only, I want to be a doctor who cures people through music (Music therapist) she is a music business women".

In May 2023 that’s when she had a chance of releasing her first song ‘’Umukunzi’’ which had positive critics and very well welcomed this is one the thing that encouraged her to continue in this carrier, she said,’’This song helped to get in the field playground which I always had dream to play in, this encuraged to keep on with hard working’’.

Sharon Gatete, a Rwandan Gospel artist to keep an eye on

In July that’s when Sharon Gatete released her song ‘’Nzategereza’’ she was surprised by how it was welcomed, she’s really thankful for her fan and the fun of gospel music in general. She has also said ‘’this is a sign of God to strengthen me to keep moving in music career’’ she added that this was a sign that she is very lucky.

She explained about preparing a concert in which they will take the images that will be should be used for songs for her first the concert name is ‘’nzategereza live album’’, the album is due on Thursday 03th August 2023 from 7pm at L’Espace near Kacyiru public library. She said; ‘’This concert is aimed at giving a sip of my music to Rwandans, on one of the songs that I have already did and the others that I will release in future time".

Sharon Gatete thanked all Rwandans for supporting her and love they always show her, she thanked media for always being nearby her in music journey. She welcomed everyone in her concerts saying that she got many surprise for those who will attend.
