Women and girls from the evangelical church of friends in Rwanda (EEAR) have organized a two-day crusade that are going to be held in Rubavu. They are concerts where there will be explanations about how women are the strength of the family, the strength of the church and the country.

These concerts have a theme which says the women the strength of the family, the strength of the church, strength of the country. Meanwhile only few hours are remaining so the concert can start as we on Saturday, most of the attendees have already reached where the event will took place.
The leader of women in the annual meeting of women in the EEAR church, (Eglise Evangelique Des Amis Au Rwanda) Uwirigiye Genevieve told media: "We remind people that nothing has changed; the concert is still on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th August 2023. Some have started arriving at the site of our meeting in Rubavu, since Thursday.’’
EEAR Women’s Annual Conference Women’s Chair Genevieve Uwirigiye will moderate the event. Genevieve added: "We still have the goal that women are the strength of the family, the strength of the church and the strength of the country, we encourage people to participate.
We will meet there and talk about God’s work, thanking God that women have also been given their right and that they are strength of both in their families, in the church and in the country in general.’’
This meeting is going to be held for the 20th time and it starts on this Saturday August 12, 2023, and ends on Sunday August 13, 2023.
On the actual day of the event all women and girls of EEAR are invited and anyone else who wants to join them is welcome since the message that will be shared there is meant for everyone for empowering women in our country.
All activities planned for this concert will be held at the Evangelical Church of Friends located in Rubavu near the Rwanda-Congo border.
