Murungi Sabin the journalist of Isimbi Tv confirmed the death of Pastor Theogene as close friend of Pastor Theogene family, "It was in early morning when I saw a lot of missed calls from Pastors’s wife.

I was not picking because I was on my way home to where am sleeping in Paris. (...) Plaisir of Zaburi Nshya called me then I started asking why are they calling me like what’s happened, then by the time I was calling Pastor’s wife Uwanyana Asia I saw message on Whatsapp informing about the tragic death of Pastor." Murungi Sabin said

As he continued explaining about the death, Sabin said that the big Ugandan bus hit Pastor Theogene’s car which he was driving, and that big bus felt on Pastor’s car, he didn’t die immediately, by the time they brought break down to take off them that big bus.

Sabin said "The break down was not strong enough, they were picking up the bus from pastor’s car but it was always sliding back and hit pastor’s car over and over which is why immediately pastor and other two people who were in the car died, there’s only one survivor who also is in comma".

Sabin continued saying that though to the last conversation he had with pastor, he said that now he can realize that pastor knew that he would go anytime, there was a project he was about to start which would be long lasting even when he dies.

ADEPR and the Government should consider offering asking for Pele stadium for people to have a space to say goodbye to the Pastor".

Pastor Theogene was commonly known Pastor in ADPR for his technics of preaching and approaching street boys and girls and teach them about good Gospel, and teach them about leaving drugs behind, he would go and wash cars with them, makes some jokes with them and then preach them a good Gospel.
