Most important for Capitoline Abayisenga, is that she is still very young, which means that if you read this story without neglecting to listen to one of her songs, in your retirement you will train your children to sing some of her songs.

She was born on the 1st of February 2003. She is now 21st years old. While there are children born in God-loving families who grow up and turn their backs on prayer, this was not the case for the Capitoline Abayisenga. You would think that she was born to love God in her blood.

When she was very young, she loved to worship and praise God, because her parents did not left her behind when they went to pray, in the church of ADEPR Kabari, located in Rulindo District. In her youth, she became representative of the children’s choir (Ecole de Dimanche or Sunday School), where she trained them to sing (conductor).

She grew up there and still gathers there today. In the choir Itabaza, where she is the representative, she also teach the songs and coach them to its members during rehearsals. Surprisingly, the songs she teach the choir included her own.

In an interview with Paradise on February 25, 2024, she said: "I used to sit at home, feeling to the songs that come in my mind, write them down, then teach the choir. It was last year (2023) that I realized that I have a talent for singing, then I had an idea to publish a song, and tell my parents about it. They accepted it well.

Because there is an elder brother of mine who is a musician (in the church), I also told him about it, then he listened to me, said their melody to be good, and advised me to take it to the studio. When I see that they support me, it immediately gives me the motivation to start worshiping and praising God through songs like what I started by called ‘Ijambo Ry’Ihumure.”

It was followed by ‘Dufite Imana’, which is also her most popular song. This is the song that some people heard and cried tears of joy saying ’what a child has a beautiful voice, good message and skill in writing!’ only the tears of some were mixed with tears of sadness, because they said: ’how are the songs of famous artists that are not good we always dance;

But those of this young girl who has a message that we need, not reach us?’
Some people told her that even if she makes good songs, she will not continue because it is difficult for her to realize even one. She has a song written now, but since releasing a song requires a lot of money, she is not sure when she will release them.

Currently, she has only released 6 songs, and only one has been made into an audio and video format. They are ’Ijambo Ry’Ihumure’, ’Dufite Imana’, ’Ntakinanira Imana’, ’Irakuzi’, ’Warahabaye’, and the latest one she put out a little while ago called ’Imana Ishimwe’.

This girl, a young singer, Capitoline Abayisenga, is undoubtedly said to be a good christian, according to some experts who know her in Rulindo District, her songs focus on all the things that are needed, i.e. comfort, God’s promises and so on.

She told Paradise: “Whether it’s a comfort or a promise, all people need to hear the message contained in them. Only, I often like to make songs that comfort people, because there are many people who are tired, tired, have many trials and many problems, that’s why the song I released for the first time is called ’Ijambo Ry’Ihumure (Word of Comfort)”.
