On March 28, 2025, Evangelist Dr. Dana Morey arrived in Mubende, Uganda, continuing his evangelical mission after leaving Luweero.
The Miracle Gospel Celebration, organized in partnership with his ministry, A Light to the Nations (ALN), aims to spread the Gospel of salvation, bring healing to the sick, and deliver those held in spiritual bondage.
The first day in Mubende was marked by a remarkable event known as the Jesus Drive, where believers marched across the city in a grand evangelistic procession. The enthusiasm was so overwhelming that the Central Business Area came to a standstill as crowds of worshippers flooded the streets, singing and proclaiming the name of Jesus.
During his first sermon in Mubende, Dr. Morey emphasized righteousness, redemption, and the transformative power of God. He declared, “Only the Son can truly set you free. Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed.” He stressed that people cannot liberate themselves from sin; true freedom comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
He also spoke about faith, drawing lessons from biblical stories such as Daniel in the lions’ den, Abraham offering Isaac, and the walls of Jericho collapsing. “Faith is the foundation of God’s miracles,” he explained.
Over 5,000 people attended the opening day of the crusade, demonstrating their eagerness to experience God’s presence. Mothers carried their babies, youth sang songs of worship, and others engaged in fervent prayers, all believing in God’s power to transform lives.
Mubende is witnessing extraordinary moments, and many anticipate even greater miracles in the coming days. Dr. Morey declared, "This is a season of mercy, grace, and a powerful encounter with the love of Christ."
The crusade will continue until March 30, and expectations are high for even greater manifestations of God’s power.
