I don't come to replace Aline Gahongayire, I want to join her in worshiping God - Cindy Marvine Gateka

Cindy Marvine Gateka is going to release her first song with Aline Gahongayire who is considered to be the number one female gospel artist.

The singer Cindy Marvine Gateka prepared the song "Wondekura Norwa" (In Kirundi or "Undekuye nagwa" In Kinyarwanda) which is a song she collaborated with Aline Gahongayire, a famous singer in Rwanda.

After announcing the song, she continues to be praised by the crowd where many of Aline Gahongayire’s fans welcomed her and promised to follow her as they followed Aline Gahongayire after being well received for the good art she continues to realise.

There are some who started to say that she would come to replace Aline Gahongayire, but they ignore that Aline Gahongayire recently announced to Paradise.rw that she is now starting her music journey.

Dr. Alga says that she has high projects aimed at glorifying the name of the Lord and bringing more spoils for Christ and she will shine like a star on the day of ending of the world system as it is written in Daniel 12:3 "And the wise shall shine as the light of the firmament of heaven, and the righteous shall shine as the stars forever".

Alga returned to this in an interview with Paradise when she highlighted the song called "Zahabu", one of the songs managed to repair the hearts that were destroyed by the disasters and calamities of the world.

This is also confirmed by the charitable activities that this singer Gahongayire continues to do, which includes caring for orphans, widows and the poor.

In interview with the Paradise.rw, Cindy Marvine Gateka was asked about the rumors that she would replace Aline Gahongayire. Se flatly denied it and said that she did not come to replace her insisting that she came to defend her and continue to evangelize through songs.

When asked what she learned from Alga, she replied that she taught her something about not giving up, working towards goals and perseverance. She added that she considers it a blessing to work with Gahongayire on the 1st song because she considers her as a role model.

She added that Gahongayire was close to her when she told her that she was going to join music and that she wanted them to work together on the 1st song.

Cindy Marvine Gateka, who lives in the United States of America, has started a musical journey and is preparing to release a song called "Wondekura Norwa" which she collaborated with her Aline Gahongayire - a popular artist in Rwanda (Dr. Alga is the one of her family members! She is sister to Cindy’s mother).

In recent days when she was in Rwanda before returning to the United States of America, in an interview with Paradise, Cindy announced more about the music journey she started and about the song she collaborated with Aline Gahongayire known as Dr Alga.

When she was asked where she got her motivation to join music, this girl who speaks Kirundi and Kinyarwanda said, "I feel it is my passion, that’s why I started praising God. I love it and I grew up wanting to be a gospel singer."

The journalist asked her where she got the song called "Wondekura Norwa" which will be released in a few days as a collabo of Cindy and Dr Alga, Cindy said "The song called ’Wondekura Norwa’ was written to praise and talk about the greatness of God and what he has done for us. In him we are resting".

Cindy received salvation in 2012. After being enlightened by the light like Paul, she began her singing career, singing in a choir called Guérison des Ames in Burundi.

She later moved to the United States for academic reasons. It was after she arrived in that USA that the talent of singing to God for her own was rised.

After knowing this good news, Paradise.rw talked to Aline Gahongayire (Dr Alga) who is known for supporting talented singers who sing songs of worship and praise to God.

"Dr Alga, how did you react to seeing that Cindy is doing like you?", Aline said, "It is the answer to my prayers". Cindy was asked what’s next for this song, and she replied, "I’m currently working on an eight-song album."
