Paul Kagame arrived in Muhanga District after campaigning in Ngororero District, which is the fourth district he has visited since he started campaigning on Saturday, June 22, 2024, when he went to Musanze.

The current RPF Inkotanyi candidate, Paul Kagame, who is currently the President of the Republic of Rwanda since the year 2000 when he led in transition and was elected for the first time in 2003, was born in the Southern Province, in Ruhango District, which is one of the reasons why the people of Muhanga received him with extraordinary kindness.

After telling them that he was happy to be with them on this third day of campaigning, especially because they participated in large numbers, Paul Kagame continued saying: "It shows that the plan to make a good decision on the 15th is well understood."

He continued: “There is a journey we have been on for 30 years, a journey to change history, to change the face of our country. Our country has had a very bad history, so the journey we have is to change that history, its face, Rwandans and to rebuild, that is the path we are on.

Where we want to go has not yet arrived, there is still a long way to go, but where we have arrived is exciting, we should not go back. I say this to all Rwandans, not just the RPF Inkotanyi."

He said a lot of important things including the fact that RPF and Rwandans built confidence, and thanked the representatives of other political parties who decided to support the RPF Inkotanyi and did not give a candidate. As he said, the best is yet to come.
