Willy M. Gakunzi, who lives in Canada, was awarded the prestigious CEO Award at the international level a year ago.

It is an award given to the best leader, which was presented on August 04, 2022. He has already received another award "Hope Remains Award" for his first book about his life.

It is a book called "When Light Fades Away Hope Remains". It has 230 pages, and it was printed in Canada, in the city of Toronto, in one of the world’s leading publishing houses, which is managed by Raymond Aaron, who also wrote the foreword of this book by Willy Gakunzi.

Willy Gakunzi says that the main message of his book is that those who read it will know that there is hope that it is possible even if life is difficult.

He said, "The God before the problems, is still the God after the problems. The other thing is that, wherever you are, if you allow the light to not die, you will get nowhere".

Willy M Gakunzi, CEO of Heart of Worship in Action Foundation, which is based in Canada, but its work to help the needy is done in Rwanda and elsewhere, continues to be surprised in a strong way, people are proud of what he has done, and yet he feels that are normal.

In an interview with Inyarwanda.com Willy Gakunzi said, "There are things we do, we feel that we have done normal things, but in the material world and in the immaterial world they are great things. This Award reminded me of many things in life: I remembered that God is very good. Kindly he treats us regardless of our weaknesses or our race.

I once again understood that not everything we say has a great meaning, but that the fruits (results) they produce are the most important. If these results bring glory to God, our lives will have meaning."

This servant of God was asked how he received this award given to him as the best writer, he replied, "It made me very happy and it reminded me that writing our history is important. I remember that the nights I spent writing, the strength (emotionally, mentally and physically) ) helped me, not in vain".

He added, "Another important thing that has taught me again is to be humble, the reward I received again was to conquer God in my heart. The journey continues. This reward was given to me on December 14, 2023 (December 14, 2023) but it arrived on the first day of Monday 2024 ( Jan 1, 2024)".

He said that this award called "Hope Remains Award" was given by Publishing House called 10-10-10 Program. "I was awarded in front of a crowd of over 3,000 people. It’s an award given to writers for the authority they show in their writing," he said.

After receiving the award, he took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude for the many blessings he continues to receive. Regarding the bitter life he went through in recent years including the loss of his partner, he said, "If you had told me that I would receive an award 5 years ago, I would not have believed it".

He explains that the reason he didn’t accept it was because of the bad times he was in. "If you had told me 10 or more years ago, if you had told me that I would receive an award, I would not have believed it, I would have told you that you are kidding me, because the life I was in did not show that it was possible," he added.

He said "But today, in 2021 I was awarded the best managers award, in 2023 I was awarded the author’s ’Authori’y’ award again. He asked himself "Is anything impossible? If you agree to continue, love life and work, God will get you everywhere".

Willy Gakunzi, who is known for helping the needy through the Heart of Worship in Action Foundation, concluded by saying, "I encourage everyone, especially those who listen to me in this language of ours: God’s plans and promises come true when we do our part.

It means that what we have been given in a spiritual way appears in practical life when we receive it and do the conditions on our side (It requires both the spiritual principles to be respected and the work of our hands to yield results)".
