This Kamugisha’s child was born well as confirmed by the Chair Man of the RPF Inkotanyi family in Muhanga District, Kayitare Jacqueline who said that the parent gave birth well, and it is her firstborn, at the age of 21.

This mother Kamugisha was participating in the campaign in Muhanga District, where those from Ruhango and Kamonyi districts were also among the participants, on June 24, 2024, the news that the child she gave birth to was named after Paul Kagame’s last born, Ian Kagame, became known on the next day.

Kamugisha, who was pregnant, went to the place where Kagame was supposed to campaign, ignored her parents warning, and when she got there she was welcomed where other pregnant mothers were, after some time she got sick, the counselors handed her over to the doctors who were at the campaign site, they took care of her until Kagame arrived and went.

She explains: "I saw candidate Kagame come, wearing a black hat and a black t-shirt, but when he took the floor he came and spoke to the house full of mothers and children at the Kabgayi hospital saying ’Give birth as possible as you can,’ but when I heard him, I was in the lower part where there were women and children.”

The ambulance immediately arrived, and carried her in the hospital, and she thanked the good leadership of the RPF Inkotanyi, especially Paul Kagame, because he provided a good hospital where the parents can give birth in peace, and treating children well. His husband was very happy that the RPF Inkotanyi took her to the hospital and that she was taken care of.

This mother was given a cow for her love for the RPF Inkotanyi, especially because she agreed to support it even in her weaknesses. The RPF Inkotanyi is in the process of campaigning its candidate Paul Kagame for the position of President of the Republic, in the elections for the President of the Republic that will be held on July 14 and 15, 2024.
