On his YouTube channel called Israel Mbonyi, he has sung two songs in Swahili. Today he has uploaded the third one. So Why he is doing his songs in Swahili?
He named the first Nina Siri (I have a secret), the second Nita Amini (I’ll believe) and the third upcoming Amenisemehe (He forgives me). This song was released in this week, on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Kenyans, Tanzanians, and Congolese are the most popular commenters.
This shows that after doing Nina Siri which is very popular in the countries that use Swahili, Nita Amini came out and it is also popular, this made him see that singing in Swahili is profitable.
All artists love to be in a place of profit but gospel singers are not only interested in financial gain but they are aiming to spread the good news from God far and wide. This is what Israel Mbonyi is doing, because when he sang only in Kinyarwanda, the message did not reach as far as it does when he sings in Swahili.
This artist is preparing to perform at a concert hall in Rwanda known as BK Arena. It is the year-end concert that will take place on Christmas Day.
There is no doubt that it will be the great because the last time he was there in 2022, the house was full. So now it will be even more full because this year 2023 has changed history and done what many artists want, whether they are gospel, traditional or secular singers.
In an interview, Israel Mbonyi said that his real name is Israel Mbonyicyambu, he is a Rwandan, but he studied in India for 4 years studying Pharmacy. He graduated in May 2015.
Israel Mbonyi was born on 20/05/1992, in Democratic Republic of the Congo (R.D. Congo) - South Kivu, where it is called Uvira. This comfirms how he knows very well Swahili because this country Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) use Swahili as mother tongue.
On Instagram and YouTube he uses the name Israel Mbonyi.
